If you've only seen the posters, "The Words" may appear to be a wistful love-themed drama, similar in tone to 1990's "Ghost." It is that and a lot more. The film depicts several intertwining narratives. And with that much story to tell comes a rather sizable cast of key characters including Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde, J.K. Simmons, John Hannah, Ben Barnes and Nora Arnezeder. Cooper plays a struggling writer who happens upon a manuscript that he decides to pass off as his own -- and must face devastating consequences.

"The Words" was written and directed by childhood friends of Cooper's. They credit the actor with helping their work see the light of day.
