After years of trying to spin off one of its most popular properties, Sony looks to be getting closer to getting a 'Ghostbusters' movie off the ground.
Move over, James Bond, Melissa McCarthy is horning in on your territory in this first trailer for 'Spy,' exclusively on Yahoo Movies.

Bill Murray Gets Fatherly in the First Trailer for ‘St. Vincent’ As we all know, Bill Murray can appear anywhere, at any moment, with no warning at all. In it, Murray plays Vincent, a drunken, gambling retiree who gets recruited by his new single-mom neighbor (McCarthy) to watch over her undersized 12-year-old son Oliver (newcomer Jaeden Lieberher). The role of Vincent looks to be a throwback to the sort of bad-boy roles that made Murray a comedy icon in the 1980s — and a departure from some of the more understated roles he’s done lately in films for directors like Wes Anderson and Jim Jarmusch.
Susan Sarandon plays a grandmother in the new comedy Tammy, but she’s also about to become one in real-life. At last night’s Tammy premiere in Hollywood, Sarandon, 67, brought along her pregnant daughter, 29-year-old actress Eva Amurri Martino and Eva’s husband Kyle Martino, to celebrate the new Melissa McCarthy comedy which opens on Wednesday. For her part, Sarandon looked as sultry as ever in a body-hugging crimson gown.
In Tammy (out July 2), Melissa McCarthy crashes her jet ski, gets thrown from a car during a drunken joy ride, and stands much too close to an automobile engulfed in flames. She plays the movie’s title character who embarks on a road trip with her boozy grandmother (Susan Sarandon) after her life falls apart. I took a really bad fall learning to ride the jet ski. I don’t remember leaving the jet ski, I don’t remember being mid air, I don’t remember flipping it.
McCarthy plays Margaret O’Reilly , a chatty and catty Jamba Juice employee who talks to God via long cordless-phone chats.
