One year after his tragic death, Paul Walker‘s family, friends and fans are reflecting on the “Fast and Furious” star’s life.

“I feel his presence every day,” the late actor’s father, Paul Walker III told E! News. “I miss talking to him a great deal. He had a good heart.”

In the interview conducted on the front porch of his home in Southern California, Walker III also talked about how proud he was of his son.

“Paul had a really good heart. I thought, ‘How did I deserve such a wonderful son?’” His father said.

The actor was killed on Nov. 30, 2013, in a fiery car accident in Santa Clarita, California. He had just left a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide, which mobilizes aid workers when natural disasters strike.

The actor’s friend and business associate Roger Rodas, 38, was driving the Porsche that he and Walker, 40, were riding in when it crashed killing both men.

Investigators later determined the Porsche was traveling at a speed of more than 100 miles per hour. The Los Angeles County corner’s department also noted that Rodas tested negative for alcohol and drugs, as did Walker, and their deaths were deemed accidental.

In addition to his father, Walker left behind daughter Meadow and two brothers, Caleb and Cody, who stood in for him and filmed several scenes on his final movie “Furious 7” — which is set for release on April 3, 2015.

Cody told E! News that Walker’s charity continues to make a difference.

“ROWW continues to be, to function, to help others even after our primary contributor, my brother, Paul Walker has passed,” he said. ”I know he would be so stoked to know that. ROWW changed his life, and he was so proud of it.”

Meanwhile, Walker’s “Furious 7” co-star Tyrese Gibson also paid tribute to the late star by posting a photo of the two and a heartfelt tribute on his Facebook page Sunday:
