The Second 'Paper Towns' Trailer Is a Road Map to Teenage Dreams

Your road map for Paper Towns has arrived.

The second trailer for the big-screen adaptation of John Green’s 2008 hit YA novel offers a tidy explanation of the coming-of-age story’s plot: Quentin (played by Nat Wolff) is a bit of a loser; Margo (Cara Delevigne) is his gorgeous and misunderstood dream-girl neighbor. One night, the two go on a mischievous adventure that ends in her mysterious disappearance.

It’s sort of like a heart-warming twist on Gone Girl: Instead of leaving a confused dude with a bloody home, unwanted national attention and murder accusations hanging over his head, Margo leaves Nat with a scavenger hunt that just might help him learn to live his life to the fullest.

There are huge expectations on Paper Towns, given the monstrous success of that other John Green film, last summer’s mega-smash The Fault in Our Stars. Unlike that weepie, though, this latest Green-screen effort won’t require viewers to stock up on tissues beforehand.
