‘Outlander’ Season 2 Trailer: Is It Even Possible to Change the Future?

Having already announced the premiere date for the sophomore season of hit time travel/romance/period/action drama OutlanderApril 9 by the wayStarz has followed it up with the official Season 2 trailer. Based on the second of eight books in Diana Gabaldon’s international best-selling Outlander series, Dragonfly in Amber, season two picks up from where season one left off. Claire and Jamie have traveled to France intending to infiltrate the Jacobite rebels and if possible stop the battle of Culloden. Can they do it? We’ll have to wait and see but you can watch the trailer here.

Once again, the music used is a cover of XTC’s 1987 classic “Dear God,” an unapologetically atheist anthem. Ronald D. Moore, Jim Kohlberg, Andy Harries, Maril Davis, Ira Steven Behr, Toni Graphia and Anne Kenney serve as executive producers. Outlander is produced by Tall Ship Productions, Story Mining & Supply Company and Left Bank Pictures in association with Sony Pictures Television.
