Our 7 Favorite 'Mad Max: Fury Road' Spoofs So Far

What a lovely day indeed! The summer’s sequel Mad Max: Fury Road has inspired no end of creativity among its most ardent fans including apocalyptic artwork, heavy-metal cosplay, and Mad makeup tips. It’s no surprise then, that there have also been a hoard of parody videos (including, ahem, our own obviously Oscar-worthy original — see below). Here’s our favorite Mad Max: Fury Road mashups...so far:

Mario Kart: Fury Road
The diametrically opposed worlds of Fury Road and sweet little Mario have one thing in common: A singular obsession with driving fast.

The Unbreakable Imperator Furiosa
Because in an alternate reality, Furiosa and Kimmy Schmidt would totally be besties.

Mad Timmy: Fury Road
It’s hard to go wrong with a South Park mashup of anything – but Mad Timmy? Everything makes sense now.

Road Wars
The worlds of Mad Max and Star Wars collide and for fans of both, a more perfect lightsaber-wielding baby could not have been born.

Yakety Max
Laugh all you want, but it wouldn’t have surprised us a bit if the Doof Warrior was thrashing away on the Benny Hill theme song that whole time.

We Don’t Need Another Hero
Aside from starring as Aunty Entity in 1985's Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, living legend Tina Turner also sang the theme song “We Don’t Need Another Hero." We can only assume that's the tune the Fury Road cast played to get themselves going every morning.

Mad Mac & Me
Fury Road’s Max Rockatansky and the mute alien from the 1988 ET ripoff Mac and Mac have way more in common than you’d think, at least according to Yahoo Movies' own mashup
