Yes, that’s Rosario Dawson. And, no, she’s not really pregnant — she’s just wearing a baby-bearing costume for her role in the 2015 comedy Puerto Ricans in Paris.
The 35-year-old actress, Yahoo Movies has learned, plays the girlfriend of a NYC detective played by Luis Guzmán (pictured above). In case you’re wondering: There’s a 22-year age difference between the two stars.
The actors — palling around with costar Rosie Perez — were clearly having fun on their New York City film set on Sunday, posing for photos as they pointed at Guzmán’s bigger-than-a-baby-bump belly.
Directed by Ian Edelman (HBO’s How to Make It in America), the film revolves around two detectives working in NYPD’s Luxury Goods Recovery Unit — responsible for taking down bootleggers selling knockoff consumer items. Guzmán’s partner (and best pal) is played by Edgar Garcia, a series regular on How to Make It in America. They’re brought to Paris to help a French designer recover a very important bag from her latest line. The movie, which has yet to be given a specific release date, will open next year.
