Robin Williams Heads to London in New 'Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb' Trailer

Robin Williams last big screen role will feature the beloved late actor in his comedic element.

In the latest trailer for Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Williams returns as the Rough Riding version of President Theodore Roosevelt. Despite his rip-roaring giddy-up attitude, things aren’t all good in the world of supernatural museum exhibits: The magical tablet that animates him and buddies like Cowboy Owen Wilson and Roman Soldier Steve Coogan is running out of said magic, sort of like the disappearing photo in Back to the Future.

That, of course, means that beleaguered everyman security guard Larry Daley, played by an exasperated Ben Stiller, has to round up the whole gang and fly to a Natural History Museum in London — where there are even more walking artifacts — to reverse the deadly drain.

Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb was one of four completed films that Williams left in the vault after his death in August. The others include Merry Friggin’ Christmas, a comedy out on VOD this week; Boulevard, a dramedy co-starring Bob Odenkirk and Kathy Baker that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival; and The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, a comedy co-starring Mila Kunis that was quietly released this summer.

The third Night at the Museum movie hits theaters on Dec. 19.
