UTA has signed Barbra Streisand as a film client, representing her as an actress, director and producer. The agency will also represent her film and teleivsion produciton company Barwood Films.
Though best known as a Singer, Streisand has won two Academy Awards, five Emmys, a Tony Award and several Golden Globe Awards. She won a Best Actress Oscar in 1969 for her performance in "Funny Girl" and then won Best Original Song in 1977 for "Evergreen" from "A Star is Born."
She has appeared in three films over the last decade, the two follow-ups to "Meet the Parents," "Meet the Fockers" and "Little Fockers," and "The Guilt Trip," a 2012 where she played Seth Rogen's widowed mother.
