Claire Danes looks like a winner!
The pregnant actress, 33, showed off her growing baby bump in a strapless yellow Lanvin dress at the Primetime Emmy Awards in L.A. September 23. "It didn't need any tweaking and it's very bump-friendly," Danes told E! News' Ryan Seacrest, 37, on the red carpet. "It was easy and pretty."
Married to actor Hugh Dancy since 2009, the future first-time mom said she's been "really, really lucky to have a gentle pregnancy" while shooting the second season of Showtime's Homeland. "It's not running too much interference."
Still, "The show is rigorous," Danes admitted. "Aside from the pregnancy, it's intense. But it's nature. But I love that about it. I couldn't be happier with this material and working with this group of people who are just brilliant and lovely."
Danes was nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category. She beat The Good Wife's Julianna Margulies, 46, Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss, 29, Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery, 30, Damages' Glenn Close, 65, and Harry's Law's Kathy Bates, 64. "To my husband, my love, my life, my baby-daddy, this doesn't mean anything without you," Danes told Dancy during her acceptance speech. "I love you so much. I'm so grateful. Thank you."
