Showing off the bump! Kim Kardashian stepped out in NYC on Wednesday, March 27 wearing a baby bump-hugging knee-length gray sweater dress with a jewel embellishments on top.
The Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West in July, flaunted her pregnancy curves in the ensemble at the DuJour Magazine Spring 2013 Issue Celebration held at The Darby in NYC.
Kardashian, 32, recently received some criticism on social media for wearing too-tight outfits during her pregnancy, but the mom-to-be fired backed on her blog, calling the outrage "ridiculous."
"For any concern that my clothes are too tight, I have so many pieces custom fit for my growing body! They make pregnancy Spanx which are tight. So this theory sounds ridiculous!" she wrote. "I feel my best when I am in heels and chic clothes! Happy mommy, happy baby!"
Kardashian's maternity style has been on showcase this week as she makes the media rounds to promote her new film, Temptation. While discussing the Tyler Perry project with BET, the first-time mom-to-be shared her thoughts on how she will raise a biracial child with her African-American boyfriend, 35.
"I have a lot of friends that are all different nationalities and their children are biracial, so they have kind of talked to me a little bit about it and what to expect and what not to expect," she said. "But I think that the most important thing is how I would want to raise my children is to just not see color."
"There will be so many experiences . . . that you won't really know how to prepare for until you really go through it," Kardashian added, "so I think raising a child in general is challenging."
The Keeping Up With the Kardashian star explained, "Obviously you want your children to travel the world and experience different races and different cultures everywhere, so I think that would be something that is important to me to give as much information as I could."
