Kim Kardashian and Kanye West sure know how to keep their fans entertained.
In the just-released video for “I Wish You Would/Cold," a joint track with DJ Khaled and Rick Ross, the rapper has his reality star girlfriend make a quick cameo. Not coincidentally, Kardashian appears peering from behind just as West disses her ex-husband, Kris Humphries.
The line, which comes from his song "Cold", previously titled "Thereaflu" until legal issues with the cold remedy company thwarted West's plans, goes like this: "I’ll admit I fell in love with Kim / ’Round the same time she fell in love with him/ Well that’s cool, baby girl / Do your thang/ He’s just lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team.”
The latter rhyme is, of course, a reference to West's good friend Jay-Z, who happens to be co-owner of the Brooklyn Nets, the basketball team Humphries plays for.
West has been far more prone to wearing his heart on his sleeve since he and Kardashian started dating. Just last week, West revealed via Twitter that Kardashian was the inspiration to his track “Perfect Bitch.” Here's hoping we get a video with a longer appearance for that as-yet-unreleased track.
As for "I Wish You Would/Cold," the majority of the Hype Williams-directed video features West, Khaled and Ross bouncing around a tube-like structure in black and white with only faint traces of colors. They disappear from the song and the clip as soon as Kardashian shows up.
