Jack Black Makes a Horror Movie With Us
We sat down with the cast of Goosebumps and asked for their help in building our very own horror short film. We asked the likes of Jack Black, Dylan Minnette, Odeya Rush and Ryan Lee to help provide the plot points and soundtrack.
It works just like any other Mad Libs, we ask them for quotes and plug them in to a short film with all the standard horror tropes. For instance we asked for whispering voices. Another staple is a scary voice over the phone, so we got that. The kids from the film to do the ol’ singing creepy nursery rhymes cliche. Slappy the doll gave us an evil laugh. And we even let them pick what the monster would be in the short film, and they chose a spatula.
Goosebumps opens on October 16, and is rated PG.
