This year, nominations were announced January 9 and the ceremony was held on February 10.
The upcoming nominations date is more than a week before Oscar nominations, which will be unveiled on January 16.
To be eligible for a BAFTA, a pic must be released theatrically in Blighty between January 1, 2013—December 31, 2013.
Pics released between January 1, 2014 and February 14, 2014 may be “qualified” by being screened for members no later than December 19, 2013.
