Star Wars: The Force Awakens will introduce a few new villains to the Star Wars universe, but Kylo Ren has clearly emerged as the Big Bad. A new TV spot for the film (in theaters December 18) focuses on Adam Driver’s hooded knight, who is on a mission to take out our heroes Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac). Who sent him on this quest? Sounds a lot like the voice of Andy Serkis, who plays the mysterious Supreme Leader Snoke, as heard in the very first Force Awakens teaser trailer last year. “Even you have never faced such a test,” he tells Kylo Ren, who in turn promises, ”I’ll show them the dark side.” Kylo is clearly living out his Darth Vader dreams; he’s even standing someplace that looks a whole lot like the control room of the original Death Star. (Remember, something that looked like a neo-Death Star appeared on the Force Awakens poster.) Watch the new spot below.

Also new this weekend is a minute-long Disney Channel featurette on the film, featuring a completely unrevealing interview with Daisy Ridley (Did you know her character was a desert scavenger from the planet Jakku? So did we!) and some fun footage of actors and director J.J. Abrams goofing around on set. We also get to hear Rey “talk” to BB-8 in a very quick movie clip. (“Where are you from? ‘Classified,’ really?”) Watch it below.
