When Disney purchased the Star Wars franchise from George Lucas in 2012 for $4 billion, it wasn’t just so they could make movies. (Although last year’s $2 billion-grossing The Force Awakens certainly didn’t hurt their bottom line.) It was also to milk the property for everything it’s worth, including constructing the largest expansions ever to California’s Disneyland theme park and Orlando’s Disney World. And now, we have our first aerial peek at what that enormous project will ultimately look like in Disneyland.

Yesterday, the official Disney Parks Blog uploaded the same photo that’s been posted on the Disneyland fence located next to Big Thunder Trail in Frontierland — and what it reveals is an artist’s concept of what to expect from its forthcoming Star Wars Land. Set behind a foreground image of a X-wing fighter in mid-flight, the aerial view features the Millennium Falcon in a cargo bay the location of a flight simulator which will be one of the featured rides — as well as what appears to be a marketplace and (in the top right corner) some sort of Empire stronghold and transport ship.

As the Disney Parks blog wrote:

“Nestled between towering spires of rock, this thriving port contains a seemingly familiar architecture of markets, landing zones and buildings. Look closely and you may find hints of some of the thrilling experiences that are coming — like the Millennium Falcon peeking out of one of the cargo bays, marking the location where guests will get the opportunity to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy."

With ground having been broken in April on the Star Wars lands, it won’t be long before we get a better idea of the many architectural wonders fans will be able to experience when the site finally opens (no date has been confirmed yet). Nonetheless, between the new photo, as well as the prior artist-concept images released by Disney, we’re getting an idea of what this galaxy far, far away is going to look like.
