Neill Blomkamp Reveals New 'Alien 5' Concept Art

Neill Blomkamp has revealed new concept art for the fifth Alien film on Instagram and we get a glimpse of a battle weary Ripley and Hicks.

The South African director said he was loving work on the project, that will see Sigourney Weaver reprise her most iconic role.

Previously, Blomkamp has said he would look to ignore the last two sequels and continue the story from James Cameron’s Aliens which featured Hicks (Michael Biehn). “I want this film to feel like it is literally the genetic sibling of Aliens. So it’s Alien, Aliens and then this movie,” Blomkamp told Sky Movies.

Though Blomkamp hasn’t revealed too much of the plot for his Alien film thus far, he has settled on a title and also said tha tRidley Scott, one of the producers of the movie, “likes the idea of what I want to make.”
