Milo Ventimiglia Returning to Netflix’s ‘Gilmore Girls’

Milo Ventimiglia is returning to Netflix’s “Gilmore Girls” to reprise his original character of Jess, Netflix confirmed on Wednesday.

Netlix also confirmed that its “Gilmore Girls” comeback will be comprised of four 90-minute episodes, as previously reported by Variety, rather than a typical series format.

Ventimiglia tweeted the news on Wednesday with a picture of his script, dated Feb. 3:

The rebooted “Gilmore Girls” will also welcome back Yanic Truesdale and the previously reported Liza Weil, Matt Czuchry, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena, Sean Gunn — and, of course, Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel.

Weil announced her “Gilmore Girls” return this past weekend at the aTVfest in Atlanta on a panel for her current hit show “How to Get Away With Murder.”

“Gilmore Girls” creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband and producing/writing partner Daniel Palladino will write and direct the Netflix revival. Still, no official title or premiere date has been released.
