Several stars have signed up to read to kids at the Hammer Museum's upcoming eighth annual K.A.M.P. (Kids' Art Museum Project).
Will Arnett, Jack Black, Elizabeth Chambers, Colin Hanks, Armie Hammer, Joel McHale and Milo Ventimiglia are set to take part in the fundraising event, scheduled for Sunday, May 21. They'll be reading their favorite children's books to an audience of kids and adults in the K.A.M.P Reading Room.
Attendees will participate in hands-on workshops planned by painters, sculptors, architects and other creative types. Participants also will be treated to a lunch by Jon & Vinny's and music by DJs.
Tickets to the event, which takes place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., are $150 and can be purchased online. All K.A.M.P. proceeds support the Hammer's free family programming.
Brooke Kanter serves as chair of this year's event, with participating artists including Kelly Akashi, Gary Baseman, Kim Fisher, Julian Hoeber, Alison O'Daniel, Michele O'Marah, Oliver Payne, Fay Ray, Joe Sola, Stephanie Taylor, Versa Style, Hannah Greely, Christina Forrer, Mark Hagen, Eckhaus Latta, Roy McMakin, Ruben Ochoa, Gala Porras-Kim, Rob Reynolds, Jen Stark and The Haas Brothers. Ann Philbin is director of the Hammer Museum.
