Michael Gross and Man-Eating Graboids: Watch the First Minutes of 'Tremors 5: Bloodlines'
Remember the cult-favorite 1990 monster movie about scary subterranean worms starring Kevin Bacon? Since then four more Tremors movies have been made. Feast your eyes above to watch the first few minutes of the newest installment of the horror-comedy series, exclusively on Yahoo Movies.
Aside from Bacon — in what proved to be a career-resurrecting role — the original Tremors starred Reba McIntyre, Fred Ward, Finn Carter, and Michael Gross. But very few original cast members returned for the direct-to-video sequels, except for Gross (also known for his fatherly role on ‘80s sitcom Family Ties). That’s Gross, the throughline of the entire series as survivalist Burt Gummer, seen here hosting his own TV show and showing a rattlesnake who’s boss.
Tremors 5: Bloodlines, again, involves those oversized ground-dwelling worms (called Graboids). But now they’re even deadlier than before and terrorizing the wildlife in South Africa. Also starring Jamie Kennedy, Bloodlines comes out on Blu-ray/DVD and Digital HD Oct. 6.
