Mel Brooks Reveals His One Gag Guaranteed to Make Richard Pryor Laugh (Exclusive)

Mel Brooks always knew how to make Richard Pryor laugh. In this exclusive clip from the documentary Richard Pryor: Omit the Logic, the 88-year-old EGOT winner and constant cut-up shares the joke that always brought a giggle to the late comedian, who died 10 years ago this year. It is one of Brooks’s trademark Hitler gags, using a comb in place of the dictator’s signature mustache.

Jokes aside, Brooks still misses his friend and colleague, with whom he wrote the hit comedy Blazing Saddles. “He was adorable,” Brooks shared. “You’d want to hug him.”
