Natalie Martinez Cast In ‘Run All Night’; Wyatt Russell Joins ’22 Jump Street’; ‘McFarland’ Adds Maria Bello

Under the Dome‘s Natalie Martinez (End of Watch) has been cast opposite Liam Neeson, Ed Harris, and Joel Kinnaman in WB’s action thriller Run All Night. Director Jaume Collet-Serra is reuniting with his Unknown star Neeson in the pic written by Brad Ingelsby and produced by Roy Lee and Brooklyn Weaver. Martinez will play Gabriela, the wife of Kinnaman’s character Mike and mother of their two young children. When Mike’s estranged mob hitman father Jimmy takes on his ex-boss, he and his son are forced to go on the run. Martinez is repped by WME, Mosaic, and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush & Kaller.

Wyatt Russell (Cowboys & Aliens, We Are What We Are) has joined the cast of 22 Jump Street, the Sony comedy sequel directed by returning helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Russell will play a college student named Zook in the pic opposite Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. The 21 Jump Street sequel is already slotted for a June 13, 2014 release. Russell is currently shooting Cold in July with Michael C. Hall and will play Bobby Orr in the indie NHL pic Turk opposite Ed Burns and Logan Marshall-Green. Russell is repped by UTA.

Maria Bello is joining Kevin Costner in Disney‘s sports drama McFarland, based on the true story of high school coach Jim White. When White (Costner) loses his job as a football coach, he moves his family to the predominantly poor Latino-dominant town of McFarland, CA and creates a championship-winning cross country team. Bello will play White’s wife Cheryl in the pic Niki Caro is directing, with Mayhem Pictures’ Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray producing. She is repped by CAA.

Stand-up comic Maz Jobrani (Better Off Ted) co-wrote and will star in indie comedy Jimmy Vestvood, Amerikan Hero as a wannabe private investigator who wins a Green Card and moves to America only to find himself embroiled in a conspiracy to start the next world war. Jobrani’s producing partner Amir Ohebsion co-wrote the script which has Hebrew Hammer helmer Jonathan Kesselman set to direct. Filming begins mid-October in LA. Jimmy Vestvood ran a highly successful Indiegogo campaign to raise funds and will be produced by Jobrani and Ohebsion and their Oky Doky Productions, alongside Levity Entertainment Group’s Ray Moheet and Norman Aladjem. Jobrani is repped by UTA, Levity Entertainment Group and Cohen & Gardner.
