The stunning cinematography of Birdman alone is enough to make 2014 a banner year in film photography. Add to that lovely looking flicks like Gone Girl, Nightcrawler, Snowpiercer, Inherent Vice and Interstellar, and it’s enough to deserve a nice old-fashioned montage.
