Here's the Marvel Presentation at D23 With 'Captain America: Civil War' and 'Doctor Strange'

Phase 3 has officially begun.

Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige took the stage at Disney’s D23 fan convention in Anaheim on Saturday to kick off the company’s next round of comic book movies. He concentrated primarily on Doctor Strange and Captain America: Civil War, which are set for release in 2016.

Though Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch couldn’t be at the event, he sent a video message to delighted fans, promising “an extraordinary character” that will bring “multiple dimensions to the Marvel Universe” in a “mind-blowing experience.”

Captain America: Civil War stars Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie, meanwhile, were able to make trek from the film’s set in Germany to Anaheim. They buddied around, talked about how much they loved Disney (Evans especially), and then showed off early footage from the movie.

Needless to say, people loved it — though unfortunately, it’s not in the video above, so you’ll have to wait to see it for yourself!

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6, 2016 and Doctor Strange will be released on November 4.
