Next summer, Mark Wahlberg will return to battle bad alien robots alongside good alien robots — all of whom can turn into vehicles, dinosaurs and other assorted gigantic things — in Transformers: The Last Knight, the fifth installment in the Hasbro toys-based franchise, and the second one to star the actor. As befitting a series predicated on giant machines that can shape-shift, much of the chaos delivered by director Michael Bay’s sagas is created with computers. But as a new video proves, a preponderance of CGI doesn’t mean that Wahlberg can escape doing some stunt work of his own. Watch the new Facebook video below:

The official Transformers Facebook page — in celebration of “Transformers Tuesdays” — debuted a new video yesterday of the actor (and co-star Laura Haddock) performing one of the many physically challenging feats required by the upcoming summer 2017 release. Of course, it took place on a sound stage decorated with green screens. But the stunt, dubbed “The Room Roll,” nonetheless looked like a stomach-churning chore for Bay’s human heroes and suggests that the director is determined to keep upping the ante on the action that’s so far turned Transformers into one of Hollywood’s most lucrative properties.

Also bringing back franchise favorites Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro, Transformers: The Last Knight rolls into theaters on June 23, 2017. You can check out Wahlberg’s stunt video above, and two earlier videos from the set below.
