Hamill mostly crept up on fans while they were reading the scenes. But in some cases, he was an extra and just hid his face until the scene was over, at which point fans were shocked to see they were reading lines with the real Luke Skywalker actor.

In one scene, Hamill acted out the iconic “I am your father” Darth Vader scene from “The Empire Strikes Back.” In another, he donned a hoodie to recreate his final scene from “The Force Awakens” with a female fan.
