Marion Cotillard Discusses Sex Scenes With Brad Pitt in 'Allied'

Marion Cotillard is making the rounds to promote her new World War II action-romance thriller, Allied. Of course, the news surrounding the film’s cast has been getting more attention than the actual movie itself because of its other lead, Brad Pitt.

Upon news of Pitt splitting with wife Angelina Jolie in September, people immediately speculated that it was due to a romance of some sort with Cotillard. On Today, host Matt Lauer asked the Oscar winner what she had taken away from these unfounded rumors. “I never take anything personally when it doesn’t concern me,” she said. “And so I didn’t take it personally because I had just nothing to do with these rumors or situation.”

Cotillard and Pitt play a pair of spies who wind up falling in love. On The Late Show, Stephen Colbert asked Cotillard if their sex scenes were at all erotic. “Let’s imagine you’re with your wife in bed, or anywhere,” Cotillard said. “And then all the people are watching … cameras, like, 50 people are watching. Do you still find it sexy?”

Lauer asked if it’s awkward because it’s choreographed. “It’s less awkward because it’s choreographed,” she pointed out. “But it is also very fun situation because it is awkward.”

Also on The Late Show, Stephen Colbert inserted himself into Donald Trump’s interview on 60 Minutes:
