MAD Magazine Skewers the ‘16 Presidential Candidates With Fake Movie Posters

A record 24 million viewers tuned in for last night’s GOP debate on Fox News, and it’s no secret that a segment of those tuning in were watching for the “comedic effect” – or at least to make jokes on Twitter, where viewers live-tweeted the affair with the type of snark typically reserved for a Sharnkado premiere.

MAD Magazine’s comic approach to the candidates in the running for the 2016 presidential election, then, is right on track. The long-running humor magazine released an advance look at the August issue, and it features some hilarious bashing of frontrunners on both sides of the aisle, leading with a fitting Mad Max:Fury Road-inspired cover that recasts Hillary Clinton as Imperator Furiosa and Bill as Max Rockastansky.
