Link to 'Ghostbusters' Viral Site Hidden in New Trailer Drops Some Science

You sneaky, sneaky Ghostbusters. As the Internet dissects the first trailer for the Paul Feig-directed reboot, the cine-sleuths over at Collider have uncovered an Easter egg pointing fans to a viral marketing site that reveals all sorts of geektastic Ghostbusters goodies.

Just over a minute into the new preview, a quick cut shows a whiteboard seemingly plastered entirely with scientific equations and algorithms. But look closely and at the very top of the screen is a string of letters that spells out the website ParanormalStudiesLab.com.

The site, a mock hub for the “Kenneth P. Higgins Institute of Science,” features a behind-the-scenes featurette called “Busting Ghosts With Science,” which includes commentary from the always-dapper Feig as well as an M.I.T. physicist who consulted on the film and breaks down how proton packs would actually work (told you it gets geeky).

Also unveiled are various images of the hardware Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones will use in the film, and some of the accompanying “schematics” (or blueprints) behind them.
