Trevor Noah’s best The Daily Show guest ever, Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham announced this afternoon via Twitter how he managed to not vote for his party’s candidate Donald Trump, which he had told Noah would be like getting shot in the head, or for Dem candidate Hillary Clinton, who he described to Noah as the most dishonest woman in America.
I voted @Evan_McMullin for President. I appreciate his views on a strong America and the need to rebuild our military. #3

Last March, Graham demonstrated on Comedy Central what happens when you throw a busted presidential candidate with a caustic wit, an imploding political party, and nothing to lose, into a late-night cable comedy show. He blew up the place. It was brilliant TV and an early sign the political race would entirely consume late-night TV for the next eight months.
Endorsing Trump is “like being shot in the head. You might find an antidote to the poisoning – I don’t know, but maybe there’s time,” Graham explained patiently, when Noah asked him why he was endorsing Ted Cruz – it was back during primary season.
While Noah struggled to get out some words, Graham explained patiently, “I’m saying, ‘My party’s completely screwed up’.” Noah’s studio audience roared.
Noah wondered why the party had to nominate either man.
“It’s called democracy. Welcome to America,” Graham told Noah, then added, “I want to change my name to Boaty McBoatface.”
Then Graham whomped Noah at pool.
