‘La La Land’ Set For Ensemble Acting Award At Capri Hollywood Festival

The La La Land cast has something new to sing about. The Capri Hollywood International Film Festival said today that Damien Chazelle’s musical starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling will receive its Best Ensemble Acting Award and screen January 1 at the 21st annual event.

J.K. Simmons, John Legend, Rosemarie DeWitt, Finn Wittrock, Callie Hernandez, Sonoya Mizuno, Jessica Rothe, Tom Everett Scott and Josh Pence co-star in the pic, which won the Palm Springs fest’s Vanguard Award last week. Gosling and Stone also will receive the Santa Barbara festival’s Outstanding Performers of the Year award.

Lionsgate will start the Summit pic’s rollout on December 9. Online ticket presales began this morning. Capri Hollywood runs December 26-January 2 on the Italian island.
