Lionsgate set release dates for the Kristen Stewart film American Ultra and the Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone-starring musical La La Land while shifting dates for several of its other films including Power Rangers, Criminal, Dirty Grandpa and Gods of Egypt.

American Ultra, directed by Nima Nourizadeh, will open on August 21, 2015. Along with Stewart, the film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Walton Goggins, Connie Britton and Bill Pullman. It centers on a stoner and his girlfriend whose lives are threatened when a government operation comes into town to wipe him out.

La La Land is the next film from Whiplash helmer Damien Chazelle. The modern take on the Hollywood musical revolves around Sebastian (Gosling) and Mia (Stone), who are drawn together by their common desire to do what they love, but as success mounts they are faced with decisions that begin to fray the fabric of their love affair. Summit will release it on July 15, 2016.

Lionsgate shifted its Power Rangers project to January 13, 2017, from the previously scheduled date was July 22, 2016.

Gods of Egypt, from Summit, has also been moved back, from February 12, 2016 to April 8, 2016.

Criminal has been shifted back as well to January 22, 2016. It was previously set at August 21, 2015.

And Dirty Grandpa, starring Zac Efron and Robert De Niro has been pushed up to February 26, 2016, from a previously scheduled date of August 12, 2016.
