Kristen Stewart has been named the best supporting actress of 2014 at the Cesar Awards, France's version of the Oscars. The award makes her the first American actress ever to win a Cesar. Stewart won for her role in Olivier Assayas’ Clouds of Sils Maria, in which she plays the assistant to an actress portrayed by Juliette Binoche. She was the first American actress ever nominated in the category, and the first to be nominated in 30 years in any acting category.
