Katie Couric Pops Up in Kevin’s Nightmare on ‘This Is Us’
On Tuesday’s episode of This Is Us, Kevin found himself in a tough interview with Katie Couric. The television interview scene started with Couric asking Kevin about his former sitcom character, “the Manny.”
However, the news anchor, who has conducted hard-hitting interviews with world leaders, hit Kevin with some hard insults. She asked him, “You wanted to be in a play … so you decided you would sleep with the lead actress in that play. And then you slept with the playwright.”
Couric’s vitriol included, “You, Kevin Pearson, a vapid pretty boy who made his mark pretending to breastfeed an infant from his pectoral, thought he could actually be taken seriously as a stage actor.”
After Couric stormed off, Kevin woke up and realized it was all a very insulting dream.
