Kate Winslet Recreated a ‘Titanic’ Scene with Bear Grylls, and It Was Wild

Even in the middle of the wilderness, Kate Winslet can’t get away from Titanic. On Monday’s episode of the wilderness-survival show Running Wild with Bear Grylls, the Oscar winner took on the challenge of forward-rappelling down a steep cliff in Wales. Perhaps it was just nerves, but halfway down the steep descent, the actress went full Rose. Watch the clip above!

As Winslet gripped her rope for dear life, host and adventurer Grylls urged her to release her hands. “I’ve got you,” he said. “Both hands up, wide!”

Kate quickly caught on, and did a goofy re-creation of her famous scene on the prow of the Titanic with Leonardo DiCaprio. “Jack, I feel like I’m flying!” Winslet called to Grylls.

“Kate, do you trust me?” the adventurer asked, playing along.

“You jump, I jump, right?” Winslet replied. As Grylls cracked up, she broke character, yelling, “Right, come on, get me down this f—king thing!”

The best part of the clip? Listening to Winslet lose her English accent as she channels her most iconic character. Watch the original Titanic scene below.

Previous celebrity guests on Running Wild with Bear Grylls include Channing Tatum, Ben Stiller, and Kate Hudson.
