Kate McKinnon has been a cast member on Saturday Night Live since 2012, playing everyone from Hillary Clinton to Justin Bieber, but on Late Night With Seth Meyers, McKinnon talked about the one character she has never been allowed to play on the show.
“So I had this Scottish troll character named Colleen. She was a Scottish troll, and she wanted a kiss, and that was her deal,” McKinnon said. Seth Meyers responded by saying, “As head writer at the time, Lorne Michaels would say, ‘Could someone please tell Kate Colleen’s not happening?’”
Meyers did give McKinnon one ray of hope, however. He said she could put up the character on his show at some point.
