You really don’t want to mess with Kat Dennings. In this red-band clip from the horror-comedy Suburban Gothic, the 2 Broke Girls star plays small-town bartender Becca. And she can easily hold her own opposite some narrow-minded, bear-bellied locals who are bothering her patron.
Becca brandishes a formidable-looking crowbar in defense of Raymond (Matthew Gray Gubler), a brainy underachiever who has retreated to his hometown to live with hi parents after finding himself jobless.
Ultimately Becca and Raymond become unlikely allies as supernatural events begin to unfold around them.
Suburban Gothic opens in select theaters Friday, the same day it becomes available on VOD.
