2015 is beginning to fill up with major franchises as sources confirm to Variety that “Jurassic Park 4″ is moving to 2015.
No exact date has been set yet but the next installment was originally slated to bow next June but had to push because the schedule was too tight and work was still being done on the script. Universal would not comment but at a recent licensing trade show in Las Vegas, a poster was on display for the movie which included a 2015 release.
Sources have told Variety that Steven Spielberg, who is exec producing the pic, is currently in town working with producers and director Colin Trevorrow on the script before he jumps into pre-production on his directing job “American Sniper.”
When an exact date is set, the film will join a list of franchises bowing in 2015 that already includes “The Avengers 2,” “Pirates of the Caribbean 5″ and “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.”
