An integral part of the formation and the expansion of the Marvel Universe, Favreau directed Iron Man and Iron Man 2, while serving as executive producer on Marvel's The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
In a change of pace, in 2014 he wrote, directed, produced and starred in the indie Chef. His acting credits include Wolf of Wall Street and Friends.
Favreau added the title of showrunner to his credits as the creator, producer and host of IFC series Dinner for Five. Presently, he's an executive producer on The Shannara Chronicles, which was recently renewed for a second season.
