With just four weeks to go until Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters, director J.J. Abrams isn’t flinching on his “no spoilers” policy. But he did throw fans a bone during last night’s Force Awakens-themed episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. When Kimmel asked Abrams for the tiniest possible spoiler — the first word of the film — Abrams acquiesced. What adverb kicks off the new trilogy? Watch the video below to find out!

OK, that’s not so exciting, but here’s some food for thought: When Kimmel asked him to reveal the first word of The Force Awakens, Abrams asked whether he meant the first spoken word. Does the new film begin with a written crawl? Since all the previous Star wars films started that way, we’re assuming he’ll honor the tradition, but he may have just confirmed it.

Later on, Kimmel spoke with cast members Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), John Boyega (Finn), and Carrie Fisher (General, formerly Princess, Leia), who also remained tight-lipped about movie details. (Under Abrams’s watchful eye, Driver wouldn’t reveal whether you ever see his face in Star Wars, though this Vanity Fair shoot suggested it was a possibility.) The cast did take a moment to discuss the extreme secrecy measures surrounding the film; for example, they couldn’t take script pages home during auditions, and had to memorize their lines at London’s Pinewood Studios. “I felt like I was living a double life, like Batman,” Boyega joked.

Boyega’s months-long, top-secret audition process sounds tedious, but it all paid off when he told his Nigerian pastor father that he got the role. Watch Boyega re-create that magical family moment in the video below.
