Jennifer Lawrence Reveals Top 'Hunger Games' Hazards: Trips and Tridents

So, as should obviously be the case, Jennifer Lawrence turned up at Yahoo HQ in Sunnyvale, California — newly shorn locks and all — and took her rightful seat at the throne as CEO Marissa Mayer grilled her, along with “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” director Francis Lawrence, in a special Tumblr Ask. Naturally, the first fan question asked the 23-year-old starlet if she was aware that she was “pretty much the Queen of Tumblr.”
"No, I didn’t!" she admitted. "I will do that later. I’m kidding. I won’t — that’s not good for me." Always so humble, that one.
Of course, the banter between the two blond beauties and the filmmaker took a few more serious turns, especially when it came to deciding whether the wedding dress Katniss wears in “Catching Fire” or that infamous Oscars dress was more uncomfortable to walk in.
"I fell in both, so I can’t really decide," Jennifer confessed. "The wedding dress … was overall the least convenient one. I think my wedding dress was the most uncomfortable. That silver thing scratches.
"If you ever want to get that dress … don’t get that dress!"
Yep, Jennifer was just as much of a klutz on the set of “Catching Fire” as she was as she accepted her trophy for Best Actress at the Academy Awards. “Catching Fire” costume designer Trish Summerville told Yahoo Movies recently that she received a text message from the star on Oscars night … thanking her for the practice.
Not surprisingly, the dress faux pas was just the beginning of some of the adorably awkward moments J.Law faced on set. One hilarious story had a hint of mystery to it.

"We were in the middle of doing this scene [in the Arena] with the [CGI] monkeys … and all of a sudden, I was like, ‘Ahhh!’ Something whipped my butt. Nothing happened but something slapped my butt," she recalled. "Something slapped my butt."
At first, they couldn’t figure out what that something was, and Josh Hutcherson even tried to convince his co-star that the pain and red blotch on her behind was was some sort of “ancient spirit,” while, according to the the director, Jennifer worried it was the bite of “a prehistoric bug.”
"We can’t find it, and we’re watching playback but not seeing anything." Finally, they decided to put that playback in slow motion and discovered the culprit. "The end of [co-star] Sam [Claflin]’s trident, it just flew off and whacked me in the butt." Ouch!
Lawrence’s hijinks on “Catching Fire” started early in the process. As in, the day she met with her director.
After arriving late for their meeting, “I spit egg in his mouth,” Jennifer said, shaking her head. “I was talking with my mouth full, and it was the first time I was meeting with my new boss, and a piece of egg flew out of my mouth. It was like, ‘Woooo’ in slow motion.”
As Mayer opened the chat up to questions, one fan asked the starlet if there were any of her mishap moments she wishes she could take back. At first, she had difficulty responding, and then she rattled off a ton … including, of course, tripping at the Oscars.
