Jay-Z Sent Beyoncé 10,000 Roses For Good Luck Before Super Bowl 50 Appearance

Everyone agrees that Beyoncé totally owned Sunday’s Super Bowl half time extravaganza.

Queen Bey put in a show-stopping appearance, performing new single Formation to an estimated 100 million viewers.

One of those 100 million was her husband Jay Z who, just hours before his wife’s performance, sent her a wee good luck gift of 10,000 roses. Yes, 10,000.

Certainly beats a bunch of drooping daffs.

The rapper’s gesture certainly seemed to bring his wife luck as Beyoncé kinda stole the show from under the very noses of headliners Coldplay.

Rumours had been circulating all week as to who will be joining the British band on stage and what they would be performing. Chris Martin confirmed Bey’s appearance last week, although denied they’d be duetting on their recent collaboration, Hymn for the Weekend.

He said: “It only just came out, so I don’t think it would be quite right. We love Beyoncé’s music. She’s one of our all-time favourites, and she’s one of the greatest performers I’ve ever witnessed.

Everyone who does this show knows it’s the biggest honour.”

Her performance was certainly no surprise for Jay Z - and presumably the florist who must have to hire a truck to deliver Jay Z’s grand gesture.

Jay Z’s small gift knocks last year’s divorce rumours on the head. The two were spotted getting cosy on the front row at the Oracle Arena in California, as they watched basketball teams Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City.

Let’s hope they have enough vases for all those flowers.
