Poster Reveal

Jason Bateman would like to have a word with you. And looks like it starts with the letter “F.”

Bateman stars and makes his directorial debut in “Bad Words,” a gleefully foul-mouthed R-rated comedy. Bateman plays Guy Trilby, a 40-something misfit who discovers a loophole that allows him to compete in the National Spelling Bee.

Bateman has been directing television ever since he was 20 years old, starting with some episodes of the sitcom “Valerie,” which he also starred in. He’s also a producer, having worked on last year’s “Identity Thief” and the Morgan Spurlock documentary/web series “Mansome” (which you can watch on Yahoo Screen). And he’s already lined up his next project to both star in and direct, the adaptation of the novel “The Family Fang” co-starring Nicole Kidman.

Bad Words" will open in select theaters on March 14 and nationwide on March 28.
