'Interstellar' Will Be a Long, Strange Outer-Space Trip

Hold on to your butts: Awards Circuit did some rooting around on an Australian ticketing website and discovered that Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar clocks in at 169 minutes — the longest film of the director’s career so far. It’s in good company, though, as several other big fall movies will exceed the two-and-a-half-hour mark, including Gone Girl (145 mins.), Inherent Vice (148 mins.), and Mr. Turner (149 mins.) — though we suspect none will feel as long as Blended.
