Captain America and the Falcon Come Under Fire in New 'Winter Soldier' Clip

"If they’re shooting at you, they’re bad."

Truer words were never spoken, Cap. In this first-look clip from “Captain America: The Winter Soldier," Steve Rogers (played once again by Chris Evans) and his new partner Sam Wilson, aka the Falcon (Anthony Mackie), come under fire from a S.H.I.E.L.D. strike force — ostensibly their own side.

Captain America has had a lot to deal with since waking up from his seven-decade deep freeze. But while fighting aliens with the Avengers was fairly black-and-white for the WWII vet, becoming part of the spy agency S.H.I.E.L.D. in the sequel isn’t so simple.

At the film’s Hollywood premiere on Thursday night, Chris Evans told Yahoo that the challenge for the character this time is a moral one. Evans said, “They make it difficult for him to understand who he’s working for. It’s not about adjusting to modern technology. It’s about adjusting to modern society. It’s a grey area for Cap.”

As you see, he does find at least one person he can trust, his brother-in-arms the Falcon. But Mackie said during the premiere that the earthbound Evans got off easy when compared to the wire-work he was subjected to for his flying scenes. Mackie told Yahoo, “The wires were possibly the most painful experience in my life. … The hardest working actors in Hollywood are flying super heroes.”

Mackie better prepare himself for more pain, since Marvel announced earlier Tuesday that “Captain America 3” is already a go and will swoop into theaters on May 6, 2016. That puts it head to head against the “Batman/Superman” movie starring Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader. So once again, Cap will have to ask who are the good guys and who are the bad guys, but at least Falcon will have another flying hero to share his discomfort.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is in theaters on April 4.
