New Song Parody Mashes Up 'Mockingjay' and One Direction

One of the best parts of the annual Hunger Games extravaganza has become the killer pop music mashup parody produced by lyricist Matt Sullivan and singer/musician Thomas Harling.

You remember them: “We Found Love in the Hunger Games,” a Rihanna-infused ode to Peeta and Katniss’ young romance, came out in 2012, while Catching Fire brought us the Miley Cyrus parody “Reaping Ball.”

Now, the duo has just released “Kill My Girl,” a nifty tweak of One Direction’s “Steal My Girl” from Gale’s lovelorn perspective.

Watch it once and we guarantee it’ll still be stuck in your head when Mockingjay — Part 1 hits theaters next Friday.
