Hugh Grant Hired a Real-Life Ghostbuster

She didn’t use a proton pack, but the ghostbuster Hugh Grant hired had her own set of tools to tackle the actor’s paranormal problem. While on the Late Late Show, Grant was embarrassed to tell James Corden that he had hired a ghostbuster to get rid of an apparent apparition that his son sometimes sees. Grant went on to explain that many other people including houseguests and nannies have also seen it. The ghost doesn’t haunt Grant’s house, but a house where a couple of his kids live, which is a whole other story.

Grant recounted how this ghostbuster used sticks and drums and sang a song in his son’s room, after which, she said the house was clear of the spirit. Grant, however, considered the whole thing to be “bollocks.” He asked his son the next morning if the ghost was gone, and it was clear that this round of ghost-busting did not work.

His son replied, “No. There was a little boy at my window.”

Unable to get rid of the ghost that haunts his son’s room, Grant was left with only one choice: to move.
