Hillary Clinton In L.A. Next Week For Seth MacFarlane & Barry Diller Fundraisers; UTA Brass Host Tim Kaine Shindig

EXCLUSIVE: She might be still fundamentally keeping away from the press, but it seems that Hillary Clinton can’t stay away from that Hollywood cash. The Democratic presidential nominee will be back in Los Angeles next week for two more Tinseltown fundraisers hosted by Seth MacFarlane and Barry Diller & Diane von Furstenberg, I’ve learned. This comes as Clinton’s running mate, Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, also returns to town to the following week for a shindig with Eva Longoria and another event hosted by UTA Managing Director Jay Sures.

Most recently in town on August 22 and 23 for a series of visits to the Hollywood ATM plus a pickle jar-opening pit stop on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the former Secretary of State will be back on September 13, I’ve learned. Double dipping as usual, Clinton’s first event will be a $5,000-to-$50,000-a-pop fundraiser at the Family Guy creator and one-time Bernie Sanders supporter’s Beverly Hills home. To sweeten the deal, Lionel Richie will be performing. Then, after that lunch, it’s off the IAC Chairman and von Furstenberg’s home for a $100,000-a-couple dinner. Ex-Disney boss Michael Eisner and wife Jane are among the co-chairs for that “Conversation and Dinner With Hillary Clinton.”

Proving again that Hollywood is the Dems’ main contributor, those Clinton events last month at the L.A homes of Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel and Haim Saban and his wife Cheryl provided a nice piece of the record-breaking $143 million fundraising pie that that the ex-NY senator’s campaign hauled in for August. Not that the top of the ticket is doing all the Tinseltown check cashing this month.

Vice Presidential nominee Kaine also is headed back in town on September 19-20 for events at the ex-Telenovela star and longtime Democratic supporter’s home and with his old pal Sures. Tickets for the Longoria-hosted Latinos for Hillary Dinner fundraiser with Kaine on September 19 are going for $10,000-$100,000. The lunch the next day at the UTA Managing Director’s Bev Hills home will see those hoping to get close to the would-be Veep paying out $2,700-$27,000 to be a co-host.

A pal of current VP Joe Biden, Sures hosted an A-list dinner for Kaine back in July before the senator was officially announced as Clinton’s running mate. Giving Kaine the Hollywood seal of approval, Turner Entertainment CCO Kevin Reilly, Fox’s Dana Walden, big Clinton backer and UTA client Chuck Lorre and former Paramount boss Sherry Lansing were in attendance. Kaine also met with Disney’s Bob Iger, Warner Bros’ Kevin Tsujihara and ICM Partners’ Chris Silbermann when he was in town in mid-July.

What other brass might be on his itinerary this upcoming trip?
