After our first look of Harry and family, we now get a glimpse of the Granger-Weasleys that will appear in the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child set to open in London this summer.

Ron Weasley (Paul Thornley) and Hermione Granger (Noma Dumezweni) are now married and have a daughter Rose Granger-Weasley (Cherrelle Skeete). The producers of the play revealed that the story will focus on Harry’s youngest son Albus, the “cursed child”, who has to deal with his legacy.

Cursed Child is set 19 years after the events of Deathly Hallows and though written for the stage, it is considered the eighth official story in the Potter canon. The play is a new story by J.K. Rowling, playwright Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany. Previews start on June 7 at London’s West End at the Palace Theater with the official opening performance on July 30.
