Here's the Trailer for That Daniel Radcliffe Movie About a Farting Corpse, 'Swiss Army Man'

Swiss Army Man, otherwise known as the “farting dead Daniel Radcliffe movie,” generated a lot of attention at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, for reasons that should be obvious: It’s a movie in which Harry Potter plays a flatulent corpse.

Well, now the trailer for this unusual film — directed by the “Daniels,” a.k.a. Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan — is online and allows a wider audience to get a brief glimpse of what this reportedly odd, darkly funny, and weirdly uplifting indie has to offer. The clip confirms that what you’ve read or heard is true: Radclliffe is a still-gassy dead guy who washes up on a beach; Paul Dano is a suicidal, possibly delusional loner who finds him; and together, they go full Weekend at Bernie’s in a way that Weekend at Bernie’s never dared. They have heart-to-heart chats (just because Radcliffe’s character is allegedly dead, that doesn’t mean he won’t talk in this movie). They karate chop logs using Radcliffe’s cold, rigor mortis-ing limbs. And, yes, as promised, they go on a magical speedboat ride in which Dano is the passenger and Radcliffe acts as the dead man’s boat.

You kind of have to see it to believe it, which you can do above. Swiss Army Man is slated to open in theaters on June 17.
